A Basenji is a light built aristocratic dog that is standing high on his legs.
Shoulder height of the Male is 43 cm ( 17 ins) Females 40 cm ( 16 ins).
Fine and profuse wrinkles appearing forehead when ears pricked.
His tail curls tightly over spine and lies closely to thigh with a single or double curl.

This African dog is there in four colours: red/white black/white
black tan and white with tan melon pips and mask and Brindle ( streamlined)
All varieties have a white chest , feet and tail point.

 
 
 

 

It is a curious adventurous dog that really wants examine everything and put his nose everywhere.
It is a considerably conceited and will only listen if he thinks to get better from it.
A basenji has a loathe from water, so if its raining he will not go gladly go for a walk.
But when the sun is shining he will love it.

Africa is where this breed is coming from.
And the basenji is still be used as for hunting.
Becourse he has no body odour and he can not bark, that is ideal for hunting.
Becourse he can not bark will not say that he is mute.
They can make a yodel sound.
